Star Trails and Meteors over Snug Harbour, Georgian Bay
On the horizon left of centre is the Snug Harbour Lighthouse shining a green navigation light out to Georgian Bay. The Milky Way with Andromeda galaxy are in the upper third of the image. The star trails represent the earth's rotation with the earth axis projected through Polaris, the north star...center of the circle. The meteors are from the annual Perseids meteor shower.
